About the Event
We are a group of artist advocacy organizations who came together with a common goal: to help protect artist rights in the fast-growing AI and technology space. Our main focus is to educate our community as well as the public regarding the use of unethical AI/ML media generators.
This free-to-attend, one-day event will bring together speakers, experts, and creatives to help form the beginnings of a code of ethics for these technologies. We will be looking at the current state of the technologies from region-specific initiatives, learning about the issues, laws, and actions being taken around the world as well as focusing on the different areas of the creative industries such as visual arts, writing, production, performance, music, and photography.
By having these public discussions within and for our community we hope to move towards solutions that work not just for creators, but to not be a barrier to innovation. Attendees will have the option to watch discussions in real-time or on-demand after they have happened.
