Session 2: Saturday, Power to the Photographer!
Description: Information is power! In honor of ASMP’S 75th anniversary and focus on Strictly Business, two of the photo industry’s power women have come together to educate and inspire our photo community. Past ASMP Chair and director of photography at Buck The Cubicle, Jenna Close, and veteran visual marketing consultant, author and international lecturer, Selina Maitreya, will provide us with a high value, daylong event that is as informational as it is inspirational.
Selina: Steps to Success 10 AM – 12:30 PM
Selina clearly instructs photographers and provides us with specific sales and marketing steps to take in order to develop a successful business. Attendees will participate in a 2 hour keynote driven visual program that clearly explains the consistent steps taken by photographers who’ve been very successful in marketing their work and growing a business that meets their creative, financial and professional goals. Through the two case studies shown, the audience is able to see the actual sales and marketing tools, and the results each photographer has achieved. Those attending will learn how each marketing tool supports the total program and will be able to see where they need to put their own time, attention and finances in order to build a business that will succeed for them!
An active question and answer session follows and attendees are able to ask Selina any question about their business or the business of photography in general. Jenna’s company, Buck The Cubicle, has recently started on the steps covered in the program and will offer real life recent experience to the group.
