ONLINE “PIXELS AND PINTS” April 22nd

Believe it or not, studies have proven that embracing constraints can inspire greater creativity!
Let’s rise to the occasion and use the constraints of Lockdown to create unique imagery, and share our inspiration with one another! YOU ARE INVITED TO JOIN AN ASMP “PIXELS AND PINTS” EVENT ONLINE (Zoom), WEDNESDAY, APRIL 22ND, 7-9PM. Download the Zoom app, open your own happy hour beverage and join us online!
BRING: either 1 image, or a cohesive series of up to 4 images (displayed together as a group) to share. The work must have been created in or around your home, during lockdown. Be ready to share 1-3 brief sentences about your work.
TO PREPARE YOUR PHOTOS: Open your images in an application such as Lightroom, Photoshop, PDF, etc. and leave this application open in the background when you call in to the “Zoom” video conference.
SHARING YOUR IMAGES DURING THE CALL:
When it is your turn to share your work, click on the “share screen” icon at the bottom of the Zoom window. A new window will pop open displaying what is available to share…. your entire screen or any open apps. Select the app with your 1-4 photos and click the blue “Share” button at the lower right. The application will be displayed to everyone full screen where you can flip through and describe your pictures. When done, be sure to click the red “Stop Share” icon at the top of your screen. You’ll then be returned to regular video chat mode, allowing others to share their screens.
