Commercial Fashion

Fashion photographer Lindsay Adler has risen to the top of her industry as both a photographer and educator. Based in New York City, her fashion editorials have appeared in numerous fashion and photography publications including Marie Claire, Elle Magazine, Harper’s Bazaar, L’Officiel,  and dozens more.

As a photographic educator, she is one of the most sought after speakers internationally, teaching on the industry’s largest platforms and most prestigious events, having been named one of the top 10 best fashion photographers in the world. Lindsay has worked with some of the top brands in the photographic and related industries such as Canon, Adobe, Grey, Edelman, A&E, NBC, and Microsoft.

A clean, bold, and graphic style has become the hallmark of her work, whether shooting advertising campaigns, designer look books, jewelry, hair campaigns, fashion editorials, or professional athletes. Lindsay is renowned for her creativity and collaborating with designers and stylists in order to create fresh looks.

An author of five books, she is always working on new ways to share her passions and knowledge with others. Each year she teaches to tens of thousands of photographers world-wide through prestigious platforms such as creativeLIVE, KelbyOne, and the industry’s biggest conferences.

of a Long-Term Career

Documentary photographer and director Doug Menuez has been reinventing himself constantly during his nearly 40-year career as a renowned documentary photographer and director, and he will share his secrets for building a rewarding and sustainable career.

Quitting his blues band in 1981, he began his career freelancing for Time, LIFE, Newsweek, Fortune, USA Today, the New York Times Magazine and many other publications. His work has taken him to the North Pole and the Sahara. He’s had tea with Stalin’s daughter and held a chunk of Einstein’s brain.

He covered the AIDS crisis, homelessness in America, politics, five Super Bowls and the Olympics. His portrait assignments included Presidents Bush, Sr. and Clinton, Cate Blanchett, Robert Redford, Lenny Kravitz, Mother Teresa, Jane Goodall and Hugh Jackman. His award-winning advertising campaigns and corporate projects for global brands include Chevrolet, FedEx, Nikon, GE, Chevron, HP, Coca Cola, Emirates Airlines, Charles Schwab and Microsoft. His fourth book, “Fearless Genius: The Digital Revolution in Silicon Valley 1985-2000,” by Simon & Schuster’s Atria Books, became a #1 bestseller on Amazon’s photo book list and was published in the US, Japan, the UK, South Korea and China.

Wedding Videography

Videography duo Garrete and Amber Baird have produced more than 600 wedding video assignments, launched a educational channel and are Sony Artisan pro staff. Over the last 14 years, dedicated to honing their craft and pushing boundaries, the Bairds have been sought after to provide training and education to new and seasoned wedding filmmakers. With multiple featured articles and videos on Sony’s Alpha Universe website and classes where they engage attendees with hands-on training.

In this class Garrette and Amber will talk about how they were able to grow a successful creative business in a small town. They will also speak about how the gear they use has impacted their filmmaking business.
