Commercial — executive portrait
The difference between estimate and invoice was that the client liked the portraits well enough to be unable to narrow their selection down to six, instead selecting 10. We negotiated a small additional fee and charged additional file prep fees on each of the files.

Description / Rights Granted / Usage: You have requested to have Kim Kauffman photograph an assignment. We ask you to sign, date, and return this to us acknowledging our terms and conditions in advance. This procedure alleviates any surprises when the images arrive. When we receive the proper signatures, the assignment will be booked and the needed materials and personnel assembled to complete your assignment.SUBJECT: Create two separate location portraits of . One location will be a corporate/office setting for formal portraits. The second will be a more dramatic, evocative location portrait with a high tech feel, perhaps a research lab.Quoted fee includes time to style, light and expose media with client in attendance plus file preparation as well as licensing of usage rights outlined below. We will deliver up to six files fully prepared for reproduction and licensed files as both 34MB RGB Tiff files and 11MB BW files on a CD. Client will be kept informed at all times of any potential budget variances should the project description change in any way from above. |
USE: Contingent upon receipt of payment in full, a limited non-transferable license is granted to to use up to six photographs from estimate 06120501 in and all internal publications including web sites and non-paid public relations for a period of five years. Term 01/01/07 – 01/01/12. All other rights retained by Kim Kauffman.
