Catherine Kelly: The Evolution of an Artist
Today Cathy Kelly is a landscape and nature photographer as well as a portrait artist. She wins awards, writes, exhibits and donates her skills to several charitable causes.
Most important to Cathy is lifelong learning. She embarked on a new genre in photography during the COVID summer of 2020 — Infrared Photography. She has traveled the world and learned about cultures in Europe, the Far East and Down Under. On a smaller scale, she loves learning about birds and plants, recently the succulents and tropical species.
Cathy’s great curiosity is thanks in part to her liberal arts education at Mount Holyoke College, where she received Phi Beta Kappa honors. Cathy earned a Masters degree at Northwestern University in Journalism. Even when Cathy is at home and with family, she enjoys the diversity of winters in Naples, Florida and summers in Pittsburgh PA, New York City, Newport RI and Southern California.
Cathy Kelly is always up for a new challenge and is willing to help a friend. Contact Cathy for more information at cathykellyphotography@gmail.com.
