Barry Schwartz is a photographer specializing in architecture, documentary work, and portraits. He has taught business practices for over ten years in college classes, workshops, and webinars, and written extensively about the photo business, producing essays, interviews, and profiles of photographers and consultants, including four recent pieces in Lenscratch.

In leadership positions in ASMP for ten years, he worked on books and the Strictly Business Conferences. These experiences informed his teaching, which references multiple specialties and culture of photographic practice, because that multiplicity is the reality for so many photographers at every level: students, part-time, emerging, and mid-career professionals.
