“Book designer Caleb Cain Marcus and photobook consultant Melanie McWhorter [will] give a brief overview of their experience in the field of photobook publishing. Both speakers will present 1-2 case studies of past projects, and through these projects provide some brief insights into the varied ways to produce a photobook and the often highly collaborative process from design to financing, and production to marketing a photobook, and more. This will be a rich discussion packed with information on photobook publishing in lively 1.5 hour session. After the presentations, Caleb and Melanie will be open to a moderated Q&A session  and offer an opportunity for the participants questions.”

This FREE online event  is being produced on Zoom by the Griffin Museum of Photography in MA, not by ASMP Ohio Valley. The Griffin Museum of Photography produces many excellent in-person and virtual programs for photographers so we will periodically promote their events to our membership due to their high value.
