Financial Planning with Mythri Padival (In-Person in Columbus and Online)

Join us for an “Ask Me Anything” session on financial planning with Mythri Padival, CFP®, BFA™, APMA™, a financial advisor with Envisage Wealth in Columbus, Ohio.

Mythri will provide a short overview of her background as a financial planner and provide some key concepts you need to know, and then we are going to dive right into Question and Answer. We feel like most of you are coming to ask questions, not sit through slides.

For those of you who haven’t really started your financial planning journey, so don’t know what questions to ask, we’ve got you covered, too. We have some primer questions ready for those who are just starting out.

• If you think financial planning is “just budgeting” and you know how to do that, you should come (because it’s way more than “just budgeting”)
• If you are scared to look deep into your finances because you’re afraid of what you’ll find, you should come.
• If you are scared to look because you already know what you’ll find, you should come.
• If you don’t know how much you need to retire, you should come.
• If you have started your financial planning, but are doing it by the seat of your pants and a spreadsheet without any help from some of the powerful tools out there today, you should come.
• If you are on top of your game but wouldn’t mind getting some free advice from a CFP, you should come.

In addition, ASMP Ohio Valley chapter board member Ben Ko will begin the evening by providing an overview of web platforms that allow you to take the reins yourself in doing financial planning, showing you great sometimes free tools that simplify a lot of confusing things. He’ll explain why even if you hire a financial planner, it’s important to understand what’s going on underneath the hood. And, uh, he will have slides! But he’ll keep it short!
