Artist Talk: Caryn B. Davis

CARYN B. DAVIS  is a world-traveling photographer specializing in architecture, interiors, landscape design and travel.  Before she began her career as a still photographer, she worked variously as a television documentary producer, cameraperson and editor, and journalist.  As a media producer, she traveled to 11 third world countries on a flying eye hospital, and as a book author she has produced three commissioned photography books–A Connecticut Christmas (2017),  Connecticut Waters (2021), and Connecticut Gardens (2023).

She is a long-time member of the Association of Independent Architectural Photographers and the American Society of Media Photographers.

The ASMP member who will be interviewing Caryn is Darrin Scott Hunter. Darrin is an architectural photographer and experiential graphic designer based in Cincinnati. He is the Senior Design Manager for Digital, Visual, and Brand at Dyer Brown & Associates in Boston. He holds the Bachelor of Architecture and Master of Design (Graphics) degrees from the University of Cincinnati where he served on full-time design faculty for five years. He has presented at many regional and national conferences for AIA, SMPS (Society for Marketing Professional Services), and SEGD (Society for Experiential Graphic Design).
