ASMP Ohio Valley Captures the Spirit of America’s River Roots Festival

The ASMP Ohio Valley Chapter proudly partnered with the America’s River Roots Festival held on the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky riverfront from October 9-12, to help document an unforgettable celebration of Ohio River culture. With the help of 25 volunteer photographers recruited by our chapter, the festival was beautifully captured from every angle — from lively musical performances and local food and beer and bourbon tastings, to moments of history and community connection along the riverfront.

Blessed with perfect weather, our volunteers worked together to create a visual archive that honors the region’s heritage and the people who make it come alive. It was a powerful example of how photographers can support community storytelling and preserve the spirit of place through images.

We’re grateful to all who participated and look forward to future collaborations that celebrate our shared culture and creativity!
