Eugenia Uhl is a native New Orleanian and its best food photographer. Her tenth cookbook will be published later this year. You’ve seen her work on countless covers of New Orleans Magazine.
Upon completing an advertising degree at LSU, she went on to Portfolio Center, a commercial art school in Atlanta and began her career as a freelance photographer in 1989 in New Orleans where she has established a career as one of the areas top commercial photographers specializing in food, products, people and architectural interiors.
Her photographs have been featured in Departures, Southern Accents, Metropolitan Homes, House Beautiful, Essence, Travel & Leisure, Flowers, Vegetarian Times, Art + Design, New Orleans Magazine and Everyday with Rachael Ray. Clients include Ralph Brennan Restaurant Group, International House Hotel, Volunteers of America, Sacred Heart Academy, Galatoire’s, The Roosevelt Hotel, and Adler’s.
Please note: Participation is very limited in Eugenia’s small but very cool studio. So, please don’t reserve one of the 15 spaces unless you’re serious about learning food photography from an experienced professional.
