#SmallClaimsDay ~ January 17th

In partnership with members of the Copyright Alliance Small Claims Working Group, and on behalf of our members and the copyright community, we are launching a social media campaign to raise awareness about the Copyright Alternative in Small-Claims Enforcement Act of 2017 (the CASE Act – H.R. 3945) by declaring January 17 as #SmallClaimsDay. In addition to raising awareness, we are asking everyone to contact their representatives on (or before) January 17 to request that they co-sponsor H.R. 3945. Thus far, campaigns conducted by our organization and our partners have garnered 2500+ letters to Congressional reps from creators and friends of the creative community, and we are looking to achieve many more.

The campaign will run from January 8 to January 18, 2018. Please help us spread the word throughout your organization, across your social media channels, to your members, colleagues, and to anyone who may be able to join us in making January 17 a huge success on behalf of creators.
