About the Event
ASMP NY’s Student Portfolio Review is your chance to get real feedback on your work from industry leaders at magazines, galleries, photo agencies, and creative studios. Our reviewers include photo editors, curators, artists, and creative directors from organizations like Adobe, ABC News, The Wall Street Journal, and leading galleries.
This is an opportunity to show your work, connect with peers, and build relationships that matter.
FREE for all current students and recent graduates (within one year of graduation) from schools throughout the Northeast. You do not need to be an ASMP member.

How It Works
Schedule:
- 5:30pm – Doors open
- 6:00pm – Reviews begin
- 7:00pm – Break
- 8:00pm – Event ends
Format:
- 10-minute one-on-one sessions with each reviewer
- Both digital and print presentations accepted
- Reviewers will comment on your presentation, consistency, strengths, and areas for growth
- This review is intended for student photography work (no AI-generated content, please)
