Skillshare: Joe Lombardo // Create an Effective Marketing Plan Using Your Creative DNA

December 17, 2020 @ 3:00 pm - 4:30 pm EST

  • Think you need a rep to assist you in creating an effective, trackable, marketing plan for your success?
  • Having issues staying accountable to the tasks at hand in order to follow through with your sales goals?
  • Unsure how to create partnerships with brands you really want to work with?

Sound familiar? These and other common hurdles will be covered in this masterclass. Joe will help you define your unique selling proposition [USP] in the marketplace – your Creative DNA.   From there he will build out a trackable plan on how to connect with brands that share your core values and notice you based on points of attraction in your photography.  He will identify the competitive landscape, help you craft a “dream client” master list, and an accountability marketing plan, all in one document. To help keep you accountable, become the “cause” of your own success, and get hired.  Joe will provide handouts to help you get started.

The next SkillShare will be held on January 21, 2021 from 2 to 3:30pm on Zoom. Presenter: Matthew Septimus Topic: Basic Financial Record-keeping for Photographers.

Joe Lombardo has been a photographers’ agent and advocate for over 20 years.  He began his career as an assistant. He has been a groomer, producer, baby wrangler and almost any line item you can find on an estimate.  He loves this industry and the people he has been able to connect to over his tenure as an agent/producer.  He is a board member of ASMP NY, a speaker for APA, and an amateur creator himself.   As an agent/producer he has traveled the world with Hewlett Packard, helping the company define and execute their image library campaigns and is currently helping to build out a national group of digital content studios to service global brands.  As a humanitarian he works with black and indigenous communities to help uplift and tell their stories and help co-create a world that is just for all.  He looks forward to helping visual creators find their voice and vision, and assist them in crafting a creative life that moves, touches and inspires and ultimately pays the bills.  As a marketer he assists those creators in honing in on the right prospects to match up with their creative DNA.

What is ASMP NY Skillshare?
ASMP NY SkillShare takes place on the third Thursday or each month. Each SkillShare explores a different topic. It is designed to support our membership by sharing important and necessary skills that we all need right now. How it works:  – ASMP NY facilitates a live zoom class led by one of our members – Up to 100 members can attend the live class (and attendance is free!) – Classes will be recorded for those unable to attend the live class (also will be free!) – The member teaching the class will receive an honorarium for their time & expertise We are looking for two things: 1 – What would you like to teach? If you would like to teach a class, CLICK HERE 2 – What do you want to learn? If there is something you would like to learn or brush up on, CLICK HERE
