Copyright and intellectual property law are the foundations of the photography industry and all other creative businesses. So, why not educate yourself and know your rights? About our host, Barbara T. Hoffman
Barbara Hoffman is known as the patron saint of photojournalists, based on her win in Agence France Presse v Morel, 769 F. Supp. 2d 295 (SDNY 2013), establishing the rights of photographers on the internet dealing with terms of services. Barbara Hoffman litigates and counsels in intellectual property and related areas such as authors’ rights, publishing, film, TV and entertainment, internet, and new media. A force to be reckoned with, Hoffman has been elected to Super Lawyers, Best Law Firms in art law and copyright law (2012-2020), Best Lawyers in the United States, and has been recognized by her peers with leadership positions such as Chair of the New York Bar Association Committee on Art Law.
