CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS How to put a book together: what you need to know before you go to the printer

ASMP NY is pleased to present a live, 3-hour workshop, in conjunction with our sponsor: Digital World Solutions.
Do you have a book ready to be printed?
ASMP members are invited to submit their book for consideration. One person will be selected from the submissions by Digital World Solutions, to have their book printed during a live workshop that will be broadcast via zoom, on April 10, 2025.
One copy of your book will be perfect-bound printed in soft-cover and be available for the live workshop scheduled for Thursday, April 10, 2025, at Digital World Solutions in mid-town Manhattan.
To be considered, your book needs the following:
- A design that is 100% ready to go
- Ideal size 9 inches wide by 12.5 inches high, or smaller
- Must have 1/4 inch bleed all the way around
- Should be 40 to 60 pages, (20 – 30 spreads)
- A wrap-around cover design (cover wraps in perfect bound)
- A high-rez proof
- An InDesign packet. Helpful info about this is located on the submission form
- In support, we will hold a session on preparing your InDesign packet for submission

You must be registered to watch the live broadcast on April 10th. Non-ASMP members are also invited to register.
