ASMPNY Virtual Town Hall with Robert Roth

Join us Thursday, July 2, 2020, at 6pm, for our weekly Town Hall with a special guest: media lawyer, Robert Roth.
Newly enacted New York State and New York City laws, provide for the right to “record” or “monitor” police officers. How will this affect photographers?
Discussing this subject will be Photojournalist and Media Lawyer, Robert Roth. Robert is a former trustee of the New York Press Photographers Association, and a member of the Committee on Media Law, of the New York State Bar Association.
This is a Zoom meeting, open to all. Members and non-members are welcome to join us.
We are delighted that Robert will be joining us for this week’s Town Hall. He will deliver a short presentation about the newly enacted laws, then take questions for the first half of our Town Hall. Robert will be taking questions only on this topic.

At our next National Town hall, Tom & Tom will answer your legal questions. Our local chapter meeting will be an opportunity to have your voice heard, and to share resources as well as ideas with fellow members and the New York Board.
