EMPHASIS: (ASMP/NM Fine Art) is pleased to present What is Fine Art Photography, a moderated discussion with fine art photographers, Robert Stivers and Cara Romero, Tuesday, July 7th @ 5:30pm. Originally scheduled for March in Santa Fe, we hope you will join us online for this informative and interactive discussion on using photography as a medium for creative expression. ASMP member, Mark Berndt, will moderate the one hour and 30 minute program that includes time for Q&A. Please register or re-register (for those that signed up up in March) to receive the Zoom link.
Robert Stivers has exhibited internationally since the early 1990s, and has five published monographs. His work is in major collections in Paris, the Getty Museum, The Metropolitan Museum of Art, Museum Ludwig in Germany, and the Victoria and Albert Museum in London.
Cara Romero is a contemporary fine art photographer. Her work has been featured in PBS’ Craft in America (2019), and is included in many public and private collections internationally. She lives in Santa Fe and the Chemehuevi Valley Indian Reservation, where she maintains close ties to her tribal community and ancestral homelands.
