ASMP members are encouraged to submit images focused on contemporary childhood in New Mexico.
Jurors: Pilar Law, Curator, Edition One, John McCauley, Art Director of New Mexico Magazine, and Jennifer Schlesinger, Director/Owner of Obscura Gallery.
- ASMP Members should submit up to 5 images focused on childhood in New Mexico.
- Deadline for submission: August 15, 2019 via email to email@example.com. We recommend sending via a service like We Transfer, Dropbox, etc.
- Please submit single images no more than 2000 pixels on the longest length. If selected, only one image per member will be exhibited, so best to submit images that stand alone, rather than as a series.
This show will run concurrently with The Once and Future Child: A Photographic History of Childhood in New Mexico, curated form the Photographic Archives at the Palace of the Governors Museum of New Mexico, and presented in partnership with Searchlight New Mexico. Searchlight New Mexico is a non-partisan, nonprofit news organization dedicated to investigative reporting and innovative data journalism. The exhibitions aim to explore the experience of growing up in New Mexico, both past and present, showcasing imagery that is diverse in perspective and vision.
