Call for Entries – “the heart goes nine” Exhibit

Sybylla Smith is curating a juried exhibit for the Rhode Island Center for Photography. The exhibit will open in February and has an unusual theme. The title is The Heart Goes Nine. It is inspired by an EE Cummings poem and his notion that for every mile the eye sees the heart goes nine.

Her intention is a call for imagery, regardless of genre or subject, which engages the heart, passion, fascination of the image-maker. As the poet was idiosyncratic, an innovator who defied convention, she is encouraging imagery which does the same.

Here is the link for the call. Please she with anyone that may be interested.
