The US Copyright Office is considering a fee increase even though earlier this year, it limited the amount of photographs that can be registered per claim to 750 at a cost of $55. This limit represents roughly a ten-fold price increase if you register 5,500 images like John Harrington. Now, the US Copyright Office wants to increase the fee from $55 to $75 (new fee structure listed in III.A.1). This is unreasonable considering the true cost increase factored into the limit of 750 per registration imposed earlier this year.
