This is to announce the call for candidate declarations for the 2022 ASMP National Board of Directors. If you are a current ASMP Professional or Life Member and are interested in serving on the National Board in one of the four open seats for a three-year term, please review the candidate declaration protocol and the election timeline below.
Requirements for Becoming a Candidate
The National Board has 12 members who must be Professional Members or Life Members of ASMP. (Professional Members were formerly known as General Members.) Each board member serves a three-year term, and the terms are staggered so that four members are up for election each year. A board member can run for reelection but cannot serve more than two terms (6 years) in a row.
The new board members will begin their three-year terms at the time of the annual Board meeting in June 2022.
