The Peripheral in Focus: A discussion on how advertising is adapting to reflect a more inclusive society and the new role for Photographers.
What consumers demand from brands has changed. Consumers want to see themselves and their values reflected in the brands they support. As an industry, the days of aspirational advertising is over.
We will host a discussion on how advertising and photography must adapt to meet consumers’ expectations in a rapidly changing environment that demands inclusion.
We will discuss topics such as:
Can an ethical push from consumers generate more socially responsible brands and products?
How are brands answering the call for inclusion?
As Creators in the advertising industry, do we have a special responsibility to be more aware and push brands from the inside as we create?
How do we expand our view to be more considerate of those whose life experiences are different from our own?
Please join us.
