In this rare interview, Lacombe reveals how she went from a high-school dropout to one of the most sought-after photographers in the world. Her personal story is accompanied by a visual commission showcasing the face of MoMA’s future: young curators and fellows representing each of the Museum’s curatorial departments and MoMA PS1, pictured alongside some of the most exciting New York–based artists.
