What Happened – Coffee Networking Event at Groundwork Coffee

So, what happened during our Coffee Meet-up Launch Event at our sponsor location Groundwork coffee?  Really enjoyable networking and community building as you can see from the pictures below.  The best part, as I experienced it, was when we gathered for fifteen minutes to introduce ourselves and share news on something we are working on, and/or ask a question of the group.  This time generated insight into editorial licensing, photo assistants networking with pros, a pro interested to join ASMP and further join the ASMP-LA Board to produce a photo critique event, and a reminder to me that the next time we do this event I apparently have to put “FREE COFFEE” in bold and triple underline it because so many of you somehow missed that fun detail and were surprised when I presented your drink ticket.  Very thankful to the interested members who attended – we look forward to seeing you again and having you join us.  Extra special thanks to members:  David Zentz (ASMP National Board member), photographer and photo assistant Saalika Khan, and photographer Albert Gago for lending your superb member perspective on the benefits of ASMP membership.
