‘Vietnam Bao Chi: Warriors of Word and Film’ Panel Discussion

ASMP and LACP are excited to announce a panel discussion and book release featuring Marc Yablonka’s new volume, ‘Vietnam Bao Chi: Warriors of Word and Film’. Please join us Thursday, August 8 at LACP for light refreshments and a discussion with the following esteemed speakers:

• Bob Bayer, former editor with the Los Angeles Times Business section and 1st Marine Division combat correspondent in Vietnam
• Dale Dye, author, actor and filmmaker. US Marine in Vietnam, most noted for the novelization of the film Platoon.
• Ken Hackman, US Air Force photographer in Vietnam and Southeast Asia, recipient of the Department of Defense Distinguished Civilian Award, DOD’s Exceptional Service Award.
• Frank Lee, “Mopic” (motion picture) photographer and US Marine. Motion picture photographer and film editor for the L.A. County Sheriff.
