A Live Critique With Industry Pros Who Will Advise Your Shoot And Critique Your Media – February 23rd, 2019

With February being a short month, this month’s critique is fast approaching. To mix things up a bit, we’ll be doing something NEW & DIFFERENT: rather than critiquing images that you’ve already shot, we’ll be shooting on site and critiquing images you create on the spot. Pro-shooters and working photographers will be available for on the spot mentoring as we shoot and critique images shot with portable strobes or speedlights. Think of it as a little mini-workshop right here in the neighborhood! We want to give you the guidance you need to BE AWESOME.
For those of you who aren’t regular shooters or are just starting out this is a fantastic opportunity to flesh out your personal shooting workflows by trying out new techniques in a relaxed and low-pressure environment. You’ll have the opportunity to get some tips and tricks from real pros and maybe even get a portfolio image or two out of the experience.
This is a “Bring Your Own Gear” event, but we encourage you to keep it light. Speedlights or other small portable lights are encouraged!
There will be talent, shooting space, and time allotted for each attending photographer to create something under ASMP guidance and this will comprise the first part of the event. The second will be a positive media critique and advice session.
