It’s election time at the Greater Florida Chapter! If you’d like to join the board, this is your moment. Any member at any level can run (except Affiliate members).
Come support your fellow photogs and gear-heads by helping plan and hang out at programs, events, meetings, and parties. You can even help set up chairs!
What could be more fun than that?
We’re always looking for ideas and help. Interact with other photographers, vendors, schools, students, assistants, labs, all kinds of folks.
Meet people you might otherwise never meet and learn things you might otherwise never learn. No less, we need your expertise and ideas – and so do your peers.
The election schedule goes like this:
You can announce you are running any time from August 28 to September 18 by sending an email to email@example.com.
Your statement and bio must be received by September 20 to be included on the ballot – once you declare your intention to run, you’ll get an email about what should be included in your statement and bio.
Voting will begin on September 24 and run until October 8.
Election results will be announced on October 10.
Board members will be seated during the next board meeting.
