With many opportunities to share their images, today’s digital universe offers photographers a big challenge — how to protect the work they create when it is put out into the world. Whether it is your pictures being stolen from Instagram, or an infringement on a larger scale, ensuring that your images remain yours can be a full-time job.
In this webinar, Lisa C. Alvarez and Thomas Maddrey, two American Society of Media Photographers (ASMP) leadership team members, will guide you through things you can do today to protect your work and feel confident dealing with others stealing your images. Lisa and Tom are photographers and attorneys who work with image-makers day in and day out. Understand your rights as they cover key topics including best practices, copyright registration, and what to do when you have been infringed. This event will include a 20-minute Q&A session.
