At 6:00pm Thomas Werner will speak about his new book, The Business of Fine Art Photography and current trends in the fine art photography marketplace, followed by the Print Swap (details below). Light refreshments.

Guest Speaker – Thomas Werner
Thomas Werner, a former New York gallery owner, curator, and photographer has recently released a new book, The Business of Fine Art Photography. We are delighted to welcome him back to ASMP/NM, this time in person, to discuss some of the practical concepts from his book and provide insights into today’s fine art photography marketplace. As a creative consultant, Thomas works with students, creatives, businesses, cultural institutions, and not-for-profits, helping them refine their communications and achieve their fashion and fine arts goals. He is a former ASMP National Board member and New York Chapter President. Thomas has recently relocated to Santa Fe.

ASMP/NM Member Print Swap
Connect with your fellow ASMP/NM members through your imagery! Bring up to an 11”x14” unframed print to swap for a beautiful new image. $20 to participate. Cash please.
How it works: Every participant is given a number. For the swap, numbers are drawn out of a hat – once your number is selected, you can choose the print you’d like to take home. The print swap is open to ASMP/NM members only.
