Today we spotlight COVID-19 news from the past week.

Yesterday we highlighted information about financial resources for photographers. Fstoppers put together a list of grants and other financial resources being made available to photographers, around the world and in the US. Art News reported that Anonymous Was a Woman, which has given more than $6 million in artist grants since 1996, will distribute $250,000 in emergency funding to at least 100 woman-identifying artists over 40 years old.

Digital Camera World reported that online portfolio builder Format has recently announced a $25,000 fund to help photographers impacted by the coronavirus outbreak, offering up to $500 per person. Popular Photography noted that Women Photograph is accepting application for a COVID-19 emergency fund, which is open to any female or non-binary photographer impacted by the current crisis.

Art News reported that US arts organizations won’t receive much funding from the historic relief package approved by Congress. The Art Newspaper looked at how to apply for funding if you’re self-employed or a small business in the arts.

PetaPixel had tips for rescheduling wedding photography, while PhotoShelter had advice for handling client cancellations.
