Using Drones for Architectural Photography Safely, Legally and Effectively
This online seminar will demonstrate the use of drones as an image and data gathering tool for beauty shots, mapping, monitoring and documenting project progress. Using a mix of still and video examples and graphic slides, Carl will present an overview of FAA (sUAV – Small Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) drone regulations governing the legal use for commercial applications, airspace, licensing exam testing and training, and insurance providers will be provided. He will also show drone-based examples from his award winning architectural still and video portfolio.
A live flight demonstration will be held the following Saturday at a Central CT location (tbd) that will be shared with those who register for this second day. About Our Presenter: Carl Vernlund is an FAA Certified Remote Pilot since 2016 and owner of Inspire 1 Pro, Phantom 4 Pro 2.0, Mavic 2 Pro drones. He currently serves on the Connecticut board as the Sponsorship Chair, and is also the former President of the chapter.
