Looking to the Future: From Good to Great, Lindsay Adler Discusses Inspiration and Individuality

September 23, 2020 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

$8.00 – $30.00

Sponsors Space for Arts and Canon along with ASMPCT and ASMPNE  are proud to present Looking to the Future: From Good to Great, Lindsay Adler Discusses Inspiration and Individuality. This is ASMP-CT and ASMP-NE’s first online program for ASMP’s 75th Anniversary celebration Looking to the Future.

How do you evolve from a ‘good’ photographer to a truly great one? Technique and gear certainly play a role, but that is seldom the most distinguishing element. Renowned fashion photographer Lindsay Adler will explain how concept and personal style help differentiate you and move your work to the next level. She’ll discuss inspiration, individuality and her own ever-evolving path.

Purchase your ticket on this event page. You will receive a Zoom link to register before the program begins.

Fashion photographer Lindsay Adler has risen to the top of her industry as both a photographer and educator. Based in New York City, her fashion editorials have appeared in numerous fashion and photography publications including Marie Claire, Elle Magazine, Harper’s Bazaar, L’Officiel,  and dozens more. As a photographic educator, she is one of the most sought after speakers internationally, teaching on the industry’s largest platforms and most prestigious events, having been named one of the top 10 best fashion photographers in the world. Lindsay has worked with some of the top brands in the photographic and related industries such as Canon, Adobe, Grey, Edelman, A&E, NBC, and Microsoft.

A clean, bold, and graphic style has become the hallmark of her work, whether shooting advertising campaigns, designer look books, jewelry, hair campaigns, fashion editorials, or professional athletes. Lindsay is renowned for her creativity and collaborating with designers and stylists in order to create fresh looks.

An author of five books, she is always working on new ways to share her passions and knowledge with others. Each year she teaches to tens of thousands of photographers world-wide through prestigious platforms such as creativeLIVE, KelbyOne, and the industry’s biggest conferences.

A huge thank you to our sponsors Space for Arts and Canon!

Space for Arts’ platform presents a vetted inventory of professional production spaces with robust search tools optimized for the needs of production professionals, supported by communication alerts which assist in the rapid decision cycles of production.

Think of them as Open Table meets Airbnb meets management tools.  They are a free service for creatives to Search, Hold and Book a studio and free for our studio community to list.
A little more information about them here:  Instagram,  Sizzle ReelBlogCovid Resources and YouTube Channel.

You all know Canon, but have you looked into the specs of the R system mirrorless cameras? Mirrorless is the future… pretty fitting for the Looking to the Future conference.
