ASMP New England and Connecticut are proud to announce registration is open for the Strictly Business 2020 Looking to the Future Conference on Friday, April 3rd, and Saturday, April 4th, in Providence, RI, at the lovely Graduate hotel (and there’s a 10% discount available until January 31st – read below for details)! We’ve brought together some of the industry’s finest presenters to inspire and prepare you for the 2020’s and beyond.

Friday will include Lindsay Adler’s “High Impact, Low Fuss Lighting,” Stacy Swiderski’s “Brand Narrative,” Tom Maddrey’s “Legal Toolbox,” Rosh Sillars’ “Pricing for Photographers,” and the Staying Relevant panel discussion moderated by Jenna Teeson. There will also be a happy hour and portfolio review Friday night, and Tom will offer office hours where you can talk one-on-one about legal issues regarding your work and career.

Saturday will include Karim Ben Khelifa’s “The Enemy: A Photojournalist Uses Virtual Reality to Tell a Story Impossible with Photography” and Art Streiber’s three-part presentation covering “Handling the Shoot,” “Managing Your Business,” and “Making the Most of Marketing.”

All this will all happen at the Graduate hotel in downtown Providence. There’s a special room rate using group code 2004PHOTOS for conference attendees, available until 3/9/20.  We encourage you to stay at the hotel for the most convenient and social experience with your fellow attendees.


One and two-day registrations are available. You will get breakfast and lunch for any day you are registered. Any ticket grants you access to the portfolio review on Friday night.
