Jemma Dilag is an Asian-American non-binary photography consultant, fine art photographer, self-published writer, and co-founder of Queer the Lens. As a consultant for Wonderful Machine, Jemma dedicates themselves to helping editorial and commercial photographers build their brand and grow their business. Identifying as both BIPOC and queer themselves, they’re especially passionate about bridging the gap for young, emerging, women, BIPOC, and LGBTQIA+-identifying creatives by providing guidance and coaching and directing them to the tools and knowledge photographers need to achieve their creative and professional goals.
Jemma has worked with photographers at all stages of their careers in all different specialties across the US, from conceptual photographers based in San Francisco to architecture photographers based out of DC. They offer a variety of branding and marketing services that have helped photographers find a voice in their work and given them the confidence to reach their dream clients.
Outside of work, you can find Jemma working on a new book, hanging out their cat Violet, or rollerblading through Philadelphia.
