Join us for a short presentation on The New Cloud-Based Application: PhotoWorkflo with Patti Hallock followed by networking with other professional photographers.
PhotoWorkflo was founded by Patti Hallock, educator and photographer based in Denver, Colorado. There are so many components to organizing your art career after you make the final print that it can take up more than half of your time. PhotoWorkflo was designed to help you control the chaos. PhotoWorkflo is a cloud-based application for photographers to take the business of fine art photography to the next level. Get organized so you can effectively promote and grow your career. The problems that PhotoWorkflo solves were problems that she had in her own art practice with managing all the business and marketing of her work. When she talked with other photographic artists, students and colleagues she discovered this is a universal problem that was begging for a solution. With the support, input and guidance of other photographers and experienced software engineers and entrepreneurs, PhotoWorkflo was born.
Patti Hallock received her BFA in photography from the University of Colorado at Denver in 2004 and her MFA in photography 2007 from Parsons, The New School for Design in New York City. Patti teaches photography at the University of Colorado at Denver. She works digitally as well as with medium and large format film. Her work is represented by Goodwin Fine Art in Denver, Colorado. She was invited to exhibit work from her project, “The West Is Here” in a solo exhibition at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Denver, CO, in January 2013. A book about the work was published in conjunction with the exhibition and included an essay by Karen Brooks from the Petrie Institute of Western American Art at the Denver Art Museum. Her work is in both public and private collections and has been exhibited in the United States, Europe and Asia.
