ASMP Colorado and RRCC Present: From Vision to Gallery – The VAMA Art Gallery Exhibition

Join us for a special evening at Red Rocks Community College’s Visual, Audio & Media Arts Gallery Exhibition, in collaboration with Foothills Art Center. From 6 to 7pm March 21, we will celebrate the incredible work of our students during Month of Photography Denver. The exhibition will take place at the historic Astor House, 1133 Arapahoe Street, Golden, CO.
The From Vision to Gallery – The VAMA Art Gallery Exhibition event is organized by ASMP Colorado and Red Rocks Community College and hosted by Foothills Art Center. Those joining us will experience the exhibition first-hand, connect with our talented students, interact with jurors and network with professional photographers.
The evening will commence with opening remarks from Rick Souders, co-president of ASMP Colorado and an Executive Board member of Foothills Art Center. A presentation from Paul Weinrauch, the department chair at Red Rocks Community College, will follow.
The program will delve into the intricacies of curating a student exhibition, featuring discussions from juror Katie Warnke, a professional member of ASMP Colorado, and Jenna Cupelli, a cross-disciplinary creative professional. Guests will also hear from the Best of Show student winner, along with a special insight from Eriq Hochuli, Foothills Art Center curator.
Light snacks and water will be provided.
