We will discuss industry best practices on the set, synergies between photo and video industries and we will even dive into creative techniques and tactics these photographers use to wow their clients!

Master of Ceremonies: Curt Donohue – Denver Media Professionals
A high-level project manager, Curt has experience in commercial construction, renewable energy, and high-traffic e-commerce websites. He consulted for a local SBDC until he discovered a passion for the art of storytelling through visual media, building his first production services company in 2010.
Curt started the DPM network for content creators in 2014. Within four years grew it to over 900 members. The DPM Meetup is now a top resource for film and media professionals across Colorado. Always focused on delivering value, the educational initiatives of DMP include an industry events calendar, a massive directory of industry professionals and supporting services, as well as entertaining and enlightening podcasts and blog posts.
Moderator: Adrian Montgomery – Distant Peak Productions, VP CoPVA
Adrian was introduced to photography as a child and has been happily taking pictures ever since. After spending 20 years in the Oil and Gas industry he combined his love of storytelling, visual imagery and project management into video production. He teamed up with his wife to create Distant Peak Productions a content creation company focused on providing web and video production services to small businesses and non-profits. He is currently in post-production of a documentary film about the US immigration system.

Paul Weinrauch – Program Lead of Multimedia Graphics & Design, Photography, and Journalism at Red Rocks Community College
Paul is a passionate commercial & advertising photographer based in Colorado. His passion became a purpose back in 1999 when he sold everything, traveled across the country for years and captured his entire journey through a lens. While the art of photography allows Paul to express himself creatively, his primary mission in life is to be of service to others.When he doesn’t have a camera in hand or is teaching, he cherishes spending quality time with his loved ones and during the summer he can usually be found hiking 14ers with his children.

Paul Trantow – Altitude Arts
Paul is a veteran corporate and industrial photographer specializing in portraits, web sites, and annual reports. Originally a southern Californian, Paul learned on-set still photography on low-budget features, and continued in Denver on advertising, film, and TV shoots. Last year, Paul wrapped stills for season 15 of Top Chef which was filmed entirely in Colorado.
Jim Darling – Jim Darling Photography
A native New Yorker then long-time Washington, DC resident, Jim, a former graphic designer, is approaching his 4th year in Colorado and 7th as a freelance photographer. In the simplest terms he describes himself as a photographer, connector & people person. He specializes in commercial & editorial portraits, corporate headshots and event photography in Denver and surrounding area.
