Howard Paul/TreasurerChase Bank   We (Katie Warnke and I) have finally straightened out our records and account permissions at Chase bank. Ultimately we deleted six previous debit cards. We added me as signer (admin) and authorized debit cards for me and Paul Gomez (for social media buys). We also deleted five previous account signers. The account signers are now me, Katie Warnke and VP Jen Magnuson. Those three as well as Paul Gomez and Samantha Behrens (for event purchases) have debit cards now. I will be set up to make payments through Venmo shortly.Chapter AllocationsASMP Colorado will receive $3378.66 from national this year*.“The amounts decreased this year because they are based on the 2020 Membership year, which saw a significant decrease in Membership. Most of the Membership funds gained as a result of the very successful new digital and social media marketing campaign, which is continuing into the new year, were for the 2021 Membership year, and so will not be reflected until next year’s allotments. And while we can only project from current trendlines, because the 2021 Membership year will not conclude until December 31, 2021, we are currently on pace to actually see a Membership increase for 2021. There is still a lot of work to be done, but we are now headed in the right direction.” — James Edmund Datri, Chief Executive Officer.*Using chapter allocations, which are based upon chapter membership we are fifth in size, behind only New York, New England, Los Angeles, and Chicago/Midwest. NY is more than twice the size of #2, NE. Lonely San Francisco is now the third from the smallest. : (Accounting software“WAVE” is not correctly showing an expense in the software, hence I have been unable to reconcile January-February 2021. Jen Magnusson worked with me and we could not solve it. I have installed a trial version of Quickbooks Online, which has the advantage of creating and reporting on budgets. It would cost approx. $20/month. I will advise what I decide to do.

Bill Baum/ Education
Greetings all. Not much to report. We have UC Boulder and UC Colorado Springs as new education members. The recent email I sent from our new education email address was only responded to by 5 schools. Thinking phone calls to touch base will be the emphasis in April. Following up on Howard’s email last month only resulted in 3 responses so clearly we are being directed to junk mail or ignored. Sent an email to announce Greg’s copyright workshop and only 2 responses.Membership- no response from the 2 members I called. Left messages and sent email. Sponsorship of Coffee – Submitted formal request to Dutch Bros. If ther is no response when I return I’ll pursue other options. Gotta run. Typing into Google on a Nepal wifi connection is an exercise in patience.
Howard Paul/AdvocacyNothing to report.
