Pricing creative work can often feel like guesswork. When a deal is closed, it’s easy to think “Could I have gotten more?” Or if a bid is lost, the thought could be “Were my prices too high?” Questions like “Am I charging enough for my services?” or “Should I be selling my art for more?” keep photographers up at night. In this workshop, Liam Alexander will share a clear rubric for valuing your work (and yourself), whether you sell prints, portraiture, events, or work with corporate clients you will learn a practical rubric to set rates that work for you so that you can stop second-guessing, start getting paid, and win, lose, or draw, walk away from any negotiation feeling confident in your pricing.

Liam Alexander is an artist, filmmaker and community leader. His photographic work has been featured in galleries and art fairs across the United States and published in magazines like Kolaj, Nylon, and Rolling Stone. Liam is in post production on his first short film, and has collaborated on film and creative projects with major brands like Wix.com, The City of New York, Samsung, SAP, and Renaissance Hotels.

Liam also served as the President of ASMP NY for 5 years, and has been instrumental in building community-focused creative projects designed to educate, inspire and uplift including IThou at the NYU Kimmel Galleries, The Exchange at Rush Arts, #StrokeofGenius, and The Bridge Program. In his varied two decade career, Liam has priced work for gallery sales & art fairs across the country, major corporate clients, magazines, and both B2B and B2C clients for both video and photography.
