Come explore the exciting world of cinemagraphs/GIFs with Digital Content Creative Gloria Cristina (@gloriacristina_photography). In this two-day class, Glo will share her tips and techniques for animating eye-catching cinemagraphs in Photoshop.
Day 1 will offer demos of two separate cinemagraphs (one product and one portrait) as well as an assignment to practice your skills before the next class and step-by-step instructions to help you along. Day 2 will build your knowledge with advanced possibilities and a Q&A.
There will be a recording of each class posted shortly after for those who can’t join us live. If you don’t have your own files to create a cinemagraph after Day 1, you can practice with files graciously provided by Glo.

Hi, my name is Gloria Cristina, but you can call me Glo. I like creepy things, cute animals, community activism, and making kick-ass creative content. I was born in Mexico but raised half in the US. I am queer, brown, and proud!
I moved to Chicago in 2008 to study photography and queer studies. I have been a visual artist my whole life and professionally doing it in a commercial setting for about six years. Starting off as a photographer’s assistant I worked my way up to being my own small business, I currently freelance under the name Gloria Cristina Creative. While my emphasis is on photographing social media advertisements, I do it all! From but not limited to concepting, styling, art direction, photographing, editing and even hand modeling. What I love about social content is the challenge of making premium content with smaller budgets and shorter time frames. I am a strong, independent team player and know the importance of community. I love working with like-minded people and changing the world one image at a time.
