ASMP Chicago/Midwest Big Brain Meeting
Thursday, January 21
6:00 PM CST
Join ASMP Chicago/Midwest for an introduction to Brain Trust, a new initiative open to all Chapter members. Brain Trust is a peer group within ASMP Chicago/Midwest that offers feedback, answers, and support. Photographers meet in small groups on a regular basis to share information and help each other with their careers. The regular get-togethers provide an opportunity to learn, ask questions, and make connections to a broader community of photographers.
The Big Brain Meeting is an overview of how ASMP Chicago/Midwest’s Brain Trust program will work, an opportunity to bring a real-life issue to the group, and an opportunity to join a group. At this introductory meeting, as an example of what might come up in a typical Brain Trust group, we will explore a specific issue of concern. If you have a question you would like to ask relating to the art or business of photography please bring it along.
Issues to consider include: Contracts, copyright, negotiating, pricing, marketing, working with assistants, finding affordable and reliable resources, and staying on track with goals.
