An Evening with CPS Lives-Documenting Chicago Public Schools

CPS Lives Founder Suzette Bross and CPS Lives artists Janet Mesic-Mackie and Eileen Ryan gives an inside look into Bross’ project CPS Lives-Documenting Chicago Public Schools on May 7 at Dodd Camera. In addition to information about the organization, the trio gives insight into how to create a large documentary project with multiple artists. After learning from Bross about how she conceived and created this project in collaborations in Chicago Public Schools, Janet and Eilleen will join Bross in speaking about the schools they are working with through images and conversation. Founded in 2018 by Chicago photographer, Suzette Bross, CPS Lives is a non-profit arts organization that pairs Chicago artists, designers, creatives, thinkers, makers, and educators with a Chicago Public School during the academic year to collaborate on a project, sharing the unique and individual story of each Chicago Public School.
