An Evening with CPS Lives-Documenting Chicago Public Schools Event Wrap-Up!
Dodd Camera and ASMP Chicago/Midwest presented an evening with CPS Lives founder Suzette Bross and photographers Janet Mesic-Mackie and Eileen Ryan on May 7. The three gave insight into the collaborative project CPS Lives and their ongoing projects with students, faculty, and staff at Chicago Public Schools. In addition to information about the organization, the trio talked about their process in creating a large documentary project with multiple artists. Founded in 2018 by Chicago photographer, Suzette Bross, CPS Lives is a non-profit arts organization that pairs Chicago artists, designers, creatives, thinkers, makers, and educators with a Chicago Public School during the academic year to collaborate on a project, sharing the unique and individual story of each Chicago Public School.
Thank you our co-sponsor Dodd Camera and to Ryan Thomas Lay for photographing the event.
