Portraiture Master Class with Sandro 2018 Images

Thanks to everyone who attended the Portraiture Master Class with Sandro 3-day workshop! The first day of the masterclass was filled with inspiration, great business advice, and discussing lighting setups that Sandro uses in his work. As a surprise, the legendary Howard Schatz came to the workshop as Sandro’s guest and added his wisdom and lighting expertise. What a treat!

On the second day, Sandro showed different approaches to lighting set-ups on multiple sets in the studio. In the afternoon, participants had the opportunity to work one-on-one with models in the setups of their choice. At the end of the day, Sandro’s friend and first rep, Patti Schumann, spoke to the class about finding an agent or representative and her extensive experience as an agent and consultant.

Day three continued with Sandro going over four lighting set-ups and how he and his team use various techniques to achieve his signature style. The majority of the day was spent with the attendees working with four models in the various setups to implement all the knowledge of portraiture that Sandro shared throughout the three days.

In addition to the workshop’s expected agenda, many bonus guest speakers shared knowledge throughout the third day. David Sanchez, owner of 10 Management and professor at Columbia College provided talented models for the hands-on portion of the workshop. David also spoke to the group about approaching modeling agencies, crafting personal mission statements, and more. John Scott, the master printer and owner of JS Graphics, spoke to the group about working with professional printers. In the afternoon, Sandro brought in SVP/ Executive Creative Director Brandon Cox of Leo Burnett for one-on-one portfolio reviews with attendees who were interested in having their work reviewed by a top industry professional.

THANKS AGAIN TO OUR WONDERFUL SPONSORS WHO MADE THIS POSSIBLE!
