ASMP has launched the NEW Event Management Module (EMM) that allows chapters to set up events directly in WordPress, and easily promote those events through your chapter’s Constant Contact account.


Event Management Module Access

To set up events in the new Event Management Module, all chapter event coordinators need to have site administrator access for their chapter websites. Please submit names of event coordinators to be given site administrator access to Jacie Carter at

Creating New Event

Once you have admin access to the chapter site, to access the Event Management Module, you will login to your site with your ASMP username and password.

Upon login, you will see a dashboard along the left sidebar. Click on Events>Add New, and proceed through steps to set up events (view Event Management Module tutorial video posted below). See also Basic EMM Step-by-Step instructions pdf.

Once you have created your event, and have published your post, it will post to your chapter site. If you would like your event to be posted on the National event page ( and be included in the weekly ‘Upcoming ASMP Events’ eblast sent out to members and non-members every Tuesday, please send an email with your event url link to Jacie Carter at

Note: To accommodate WordPress/Constant Contact template protocols, please include an image or a graphic (minimum 1024 pxw) in your event posts.

Promoting Your Events with Constant Contact

Your chapter can send out promotional eblasts to promote events to members and non-members events through your chapter’s Constant Contact or other third party email delivery systems. To send from your Constant Contact account, just copy your event url and paste it into the CC campaign template module, select your contact list, and schedule for distribution.

Events listed on the National Events page will also be promoted in the National Upcoming ASMP Events weekly eblast sent out on Tuesdays.

Monitoring Registrations

To check your registrations (orders) for your event after you have set up the event, go to dashboard, click on WooCommerce>Orders.
