Drawing from her work with advertising clients such as Alaska Airlines, Google, T-Mobile and more, and editorial clients such as Conde Nast, Scholastic, and Modern Luxury among others, Inti will relate the strategies and considerations that help her determine what licenses to grant, what value to consider, and how to get the client to meet you in the middle.
At the same time, Thomas will discuss the license itself, the best practices for communicating with clients and negotiation practices, and what to do if your license is breached.

Inti St. Clair
Inti St. Clair is a high energy commercial lifestyle & editorial portrait photographer. Based in Austin, Texas, Inti specializes in crafting true “slice-of-life” images. Whether photographing family moments, kids at play, work life interactions, healthcare moments, or portraits, Inti’s images always feel authentic, natural and believable. Her work can be seen in campaigns for Kaiser Permanente, Microsoft, Chase, Build-a-Bear, Phillips 66, AT&T and Arm & Hammer to name a few. She also has years of experience self producing imagery for stock licensing and is happy to answer questions about that as well as questions about bidding & licensing for commercial or editorial projects.

Thomas Maddrey
Thomas Maddrey is the founder and principal attorney at Maddrey PLLC, a boutique copyright and art law firm based in Dallas, TX. He also serves as General Counsel for the American Society of Media Photographers, one of the oldest and largest commercial photography organizations in the country. In addition to representing photographers and their interests, Thomas is a regular author of briefs that fight for photographers’ rights in the US Supreme Court and other Circuit Courts.
