In a world stripped of red carpets, awards shows, and photo shoots, photographers are stuck at home like everyone else—and looking for a way to give back during the pandemic. What better way to do that than auctioning off iconic celebrity portraits? Enter RADArt4AID.
Photographer Mark Seliger, whose work includes an annual portrait studio at the Vanity Fair Oscar Party, and RAD (Red Carpet Advocacy) are teaming up with Christie’s auction house for a joint fundraising and advocacy campaign, beginning May 28 and running through June 12. More than 20 of Seliger’s most iconic portraits will be up for grabs, including archival images of Kurt Cobain, Tom Hanks, Jennifer Aniston, Leonardo DiCaprio, Julia-Louis Dreyfus, and more.
