Up To The Minute Commentary on YouTube
Last month we relaunched our YouTube channel with all the episodes of our shows, as well as short videos with up to the minute news and commentary. Don’t miss the latest news on the Copyright Claims Board and the recent update to the critical case Warhol v. Goldsmith which involves long-time ASMP member and legendary photographer Lynn Goldsmith. Spoiler alert: it’s huge news.
Be sure to subscribe to the channel. We will be doing YouTube subscriber-exclusive giveaways in the near future. Don’t miss out!
The Premier of “Creative Advocacy”
Next week, our fourth show will launch – Creative Advocacy. This short-form program is our regular update on the advocacy work that ASMP does in the courtroom and halls of Congress. You can see the premier of Creative Advocacy as well as all of our show archives and links in the Academy.
Spotlight: Copyright Registration
This week we want to highlight one of our most requested courses: Copyright Registration. In this 92-minute production, which is Course Two of ASMP’s Core Copyright Curriculum, ASMP’s General Counsel and Head of National Content and Education Thomas Maddrey goes start to finish through a Group Registration of Photographs, including a real-time walkthrough of the process at the Copyright Office website. You have copyright registration questions? We have the answers.
